Rahul Mitchell Jairaj – Biotechnology
Rahul Mitchell Jairaj is currently the President & CEO of Parkinsor, Inc. Under his leadership the company attracted its first external investment in the summer of 2009. The core technology for the company was developed by him in 2007, when he designed and built a Parkinson’s disease patient monitoring system as part of his undergraduate research project in India. The system he developed received critical acclaim from eminent neurologists involved with the study of Parkinson’s disease.
Prior to founding Parkinsor, Rahul was involved with cutting edge research in Bio-MEMS microfluidic and high frequency electronic systems at the Clemson University Millimeter Wave Research Lab. He has also served as the Editor in Chief of the Electrical Engineering department technical magazine for 3 years and chaired the Planning and Execution Committee for the National level technical Symposium at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai.
Rahul earned his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, SC and his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai, India.
